Intro

Many of these are from sodium's score-hunting doc, with minor tweaks. Thanks to sodium and hallmark for introducing these to me!

Not all variants have their own page. Instead, a page is dedicated for a particular quality, and any variant with that quality will include those conventions. Variants with their own page have extra conventions added on to that. For example:

  • Muddy Rainbow is both brownish and rainbowish
  • Null is both whitish and brownish
  • Special Mix (6 Suits) is rainbowish, whitish, pinkish, and brownish

If a variant contains none of the listed qualities and is not mentioned on the Extras page (e.g. Black), no special conventions apply.

General Principles​

Highest Lie Principle​

  • When lying about promised cards (e.g. Pink Promise), prefer to lie with the highest rank/colour that still has the intended meaning.

Good Touch Play​

  • If unknown cards have been sitting around for a long time without a Tempo Clue and it is now endgame, the rightmost is promised to be playable.
